Introduction of tungsten-nickel-copper alloy materials

Page view
[Abstract]:
Tungsten-nickel-copper alloy refers to an important tungsten-based heavy alloy, which is an alloy composed of nickel and copper added to tungsten and other metal elements added on this basis.

Tungsten-nickel-copper alloy is an alloy composed of tungsten adding a small amount of nickel, copper and other alloy elements as the matrix. It has the characteristics of: no magnetic, high density (~ 18.8g/cm3) and adjustable, absorbing high-energy rays (1 / 3 higher than the ray absorption coefficient of lead), low thermal expansion coefficient (4~610-6 / ℃), machitable, welding and so on. It is widely used in the field of ray shielding protection sensitive to magnetic environment.

Characteristic of materials

-nonmagnetic;

-More important than: ~ 18.8g/cm3 of high density;

-High strength: the tensile strength is 600-900Mpa;

-Strong shielding ray ability: under the same thickness conditions, the ray shielding ability of tungsten alloy is more than 1.7 times that of lead, when the stronger the ray, the difference shielding ray ability is more obvious;

-Large thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of tungsten alloy is 5 times that of mold steel;

-Small thermal expansion coefficient: the thermal expansion coefficient of tungsten is 4~610-6 / ℃, only 1 / 2-1 / 3 of iron or steel;

-Good plasticity, processing and welding ability;

-Compared with the toxicity of lead, the tungsten alloy material has environmental protection characteristics, when using the tungsten alloy shield to make a radiation detector for human safety is not harmful;

-Compared with tungsten, it plays its unique anti-interference advantage in the field sensitive to magnetic environment.

Product application

Ray protection and guidance: because of its high density (~ 18.8g/cm3), and excellent X-ray, gamma ray absorption capacity, excellent processing, no magnetic, makes our tungsten nickel copper alloy is widely used in magnetic environment sensitive ray shielding protection, etc., of course, we not only provide raw materials and finishing parts.

Craftsmanship

Using powder metallurgy process to complete the production of tungsten, nickel and copper alloy in strict accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards, the products fully meet the specifications and requirements of AMS-T-21014 and ASTM-B-777-99 (MIL-T-21014).

Using isostatic pressure forming technology can produce a variety of high specific gravity alloy large, special-shaped parts, using extrusion, molding, injection forming technology can produce a variety of small products, using forging, extrusion, rolling technology can produce a variety of processing plates, rods and other manufactured parts, can provide a variety of brand high density alloy.

For general applications, such as radiation shielding device, sintering alloy are directly used, but as the application requiring high mechanical properties, tungsten-nickel-copper alloy alloy needs deformation processing and quenching heat treatment to achieve reinforcement.
