Diameter 12mm 15mm 16mm 18mm 20mm 25mm 30mm 35mm 40mm 45mm 50mm 55mm

Diameter 60mm 65mm 70mm 75mm 80mm 85mm 90mm 100mm 105mm 110mm 120mm

Superior characteristics of titanium alloy:

1 Acid and alkali corrosion resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, sewage corrosion resistance;

2 Low density (4.51), light;

3 Non-magnetic; wide titanium metal

4 Used between -253°-600°, its tensile strength is almost the highest among metals.

Application examples: In addition to the use of industrial pure titanium to make parts, a large number of titanium alloys are used in industry. It is widely used in aviation, aerospace, chemical, shipbuilding, metallurgy, electronics, medical, petroleum, medicine, military and other industrial sectors to manufacture gas turbine components.

[Properties of titanium alloy]

Titanium is a new type of metal. The properties of titanium are related to the content of impurities such as carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen. The purest titanium iodide contains no more than 0.1% impurities, but its strength is low and its plasticity is high. The performance of 99.5% industrial pure titanium is: density ρ=4.5g/cm3, melting point of 172, silicon-titanium alloy wear-resistant floor 5℃, thermal conductivity λ=15.24W/(mK), tensile strength σb=539MPa, elongation Rate δ=25%, reduction of area ψ=25%, elastic modulus E=1.078×105MPa, hardness HB195.

(1) The density of high-strength titanium alloy is generally about 4.5g/cm3, which is only 60% of steel. The strength of pure titanium is close to that of ordinary steel. Some high-strength titanium alloys exceed the strength of many alloy structural steels. Therefore, the specific strength (strength/density) of titanium alloy is much greater than other metal structural materials. See Table 7-1, which can produce parts and components with high unit strength, good rigidity, and light weight. At present, titanium alloys are used in aircraft engine components, skeletons, skins, fasteners and landing gear.
